Make a song, then send it as a gift. You can address it to someone's Melomi handle, or send it as a link with no handle at all. Either way the person who opens it can play it in their browser without installing anything first.

Leave the handle blank. You get a link to send them yourself, and whoever opens it asks you for the gift by email. You decide who gets it, and nobody can take it until you say yes. Melomi checks a handle as you type it. A green check means a real account has it; a red cross means nobody does, and you can send it as a link instead.

No. Once a gift link exists, that song is that gift forever. You can re-send the same link to the same person as many times as you like, but it can never be sent to somebody else.

A battle is two songs made back and forth between two people. No crowd, no voting, no winner: just the two of you trading songs.

You can open any gift and enter any room for free, and everything sent to you is yours to keep. Making a song back needs a plan or credits.

Every shared song and battle page has a report control. Reported pages are hidden pending review. You can also block the sender from your feed at any time.

Say or type what you want a song about. In about ninety seconds you get a full track: verses, a hook, cover art, and a title.

Credits pay for a song render. A finished song costs 5 credits, and cover art costs 1 credit.

Melomi Studio is $79.99 a year and grants 60 credits every month. There is also a $6.99 a week option that grants 15 credits a week.

Yes. Subscribers can buy credit packs that never expire, even if the subscription ends later. Packs range from $2.99 for 30 credits up to $9.99 for 100 credits.

Plan credits reset each month and do not carry over. Credits from a purchased pack never expire.

Check your phone is not on silent (the physical switch) and that the volume is turned up. If it still will not play, try leaving the song and opening it again.

Open the app and pull down on the credits screen to refresh, since purchases sometimes take a moment to sync. If credits still have not appeared after a few minutes, use the Feedback form below with your purchase date and we will fix it by hand.
